The European Games comes to a close later today. 14 year old Mona McSharry will be Ireland's flag bearer at the closing ceremony. The County Sligo swimmer was Ireland's youngest athlete at the games.

Ireland will return home tomorrow with six medals from boxing and badminton from the inaugural games. Sam Magee won two medals at the games. He won two bronze medals in the badminton Men's and Mixed Doubles.
