Chris Froome has won stage 15 of the Tour de France, to extend his lead in the overall standings over four minutes.
Froome out in an excellent performance on the 242km run – the longest of the Tour - leaving Alberto Contador in his wake with just under 7km remaining. Froome extended his overall lead over second placed Bauke Mollema to 4 minutes and 14 seconds, with Contador back in third, four minutes and 25 seconds. There are just six stages remaining.
Dan Martin finished 14th today and remains 11th overall, whiel Nicolas Roche was 54th today and is 38th overall.
