Daniel Flynn is set to commit to the Kildare footballers for next year.

Lilywhites manager Jason Ryan has told The Irish Times that the player has decided not to return to AFL side Port Adelaide after coming home for the Christmas period.

After helping the Kildare Under-21's to a Leinster title in 2013, Flynn signed a two-year contract with Port Adelaide in October 2013 but has yet to make an AFL appearance.
