The 14/1 Cole Harden has won the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at Cheltenham.

In the second big race on today's card, the horse ridden by jockey Gavin Sheehan and trained by Warren Greatrex made a strong front-running display to claim victory.

The pre-race favourite, Zarkandar failed to feature after a bad mistake at the second last hurdle.

Earlier, the opening race of the day saw the brilliant Vautour claim the JLT Novices Chase, giving Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh another big winner at this year's festival.
