Formula One's decision makers have come up with a way of addressing the tyre problems that blighted the British Grand Prix.

Pirelli is to be allowed to run two three-day tests in an effort to resolve its current issues following the blow-out chaos that unfolded at Silverstone.

The sport's boss Bernie Ecclestone and FIA president Jean Todt met over the weekend to find a solution.
