Everton have signed left-back Antolin Alcaraz.

He joins them on a free transfer, after leaving Wigan following their relegation from the Premier League.

The Paraguay international is the latest player to be reunited with Roberto Martinez, the former Wigan manager.

Arouna Kone left the DW Stadium to move to Goodison yesterday.
