Shane Long scored for West Brom at Stamford Bridge and the goal was almost part of a famous win for the Baggies when Stephane Sessegnon made it 2-1 later in the game. However, an injury time Eden Hazard penalty for Chelsea denied the Baggies a famous win as his goal leveled the game at 2-2.
Southampton continued their good form with a 4-1 win over Hull City. Morgan Schneiderlin scored twice, with Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana each scoring once.
Aston Villa enjoyed a 2-0 win over Cardiff City, with Libor Kozak and Leandro Bacuna scoring.
