Only two of England's World Cup squad have been named in their provisional squad that will face Ireland next week in Malahide.
In the absence of Eoin Morgan who is currently playing in the IPL, James Taylor will captain the side on Friday week.
The squad is largely experimental five players who have not represented the English senior side at test, one day or T20 levels.
England are currently in the West Indies ahead of their final test match in a three match series that begins on Friday.
The ECB have announced that more players will be added to the squad after the test match.
Cricket Ireland have already named a strong squad for the game.
