Dundalk have missed out on a place in the third qualifying round of the Champions League after tonight's 0-0 draw with Belarusian champions BATE Borisov.

Dundalk came into tonight's match trailing 2-1 from the first-leg and were second best for most of tonight's tie, with goalkeeper Gary Rogers having to produce a string of saves to keep his side in contention as the visitors created the more clear-cut chances.

The best chance for Dundalk fell to Dave McMillan, whose close-range shot was well saved by the Borisov keeper.
