Dublin lead Kildare by 2-7 to 1-5 at half time in the Leinster SFC semi-final, at Croke Park.

Kildare stormed into a 5 point lead, scoring 1-02 before Dublin registered a score. However, when the Dubs did score it was to hit the back of the net as Paul Mannion collected a short pass from Diarmuid Connolly before hammering the ball into the net.

The Dubs capitalised on this and within ten minutes had added another 6 points, to put them three points ahead.
