Dublin's hopes of securing a Leinster Minor Championship are over, but it wasn't for a lack of trying.

Wexford dashed the Dubs hopes after a thrilling game was decided in extra-time on a scoreline of 0-21 to 1-14 to the Yellowbellies, but the main talking point is a goal scored by substitute Ronan Hayes.

Fielding a long ball in towards the square, Hayes caught the sliotar in one hand before pivoting away from two Wexford defenders and volleying the ball overhead and into the roof of the net.
