The GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee have concluded their investigation into the fracas that resulted in Dublin footballer, Davey Byrne, sustaining serious facial injuries.
The CCCC have imposed €5,000 fines for both sides after re-opening the investigation on account of comments made by Dublin manager, Jim Gavin.
Gavin said that Byrne and an Armagh player had a "frank" exchange, which resulted in 26-year-old requiring treatment for a broken nose and other facial injuries.
Speaking on Off The Ball Gavin conceded that a DVD of the game did exist and which prompted a GAA investigation.
Both counties have until Monday to challenge the proposed fines.
