The Football Assocation of Ireland have called a press conference for 1pm on Saturday, where Martin O'Neill will be formally unveiled as the new Republic of Ireland manager.

The press conference will be held at the Gibson Hotel in Dublin City Centre and, as expected, O'Neill will not be accompanied by his new assistant manager, Roy Keane.

As confirmed by FAI Chief Executive John Delaney on The Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk, O'Neill will discuss the make-up of his backroom team and elaborate on the role Keane will play within the setup.
