Everton and Ireland midfielder Darron Gibson has been charged with drink driving after crashing into a cyclist at the weekend.
The Liverpool Echo reports that Gibson crashed into a cyclist on Sunday evening failing to pull over after the incident, before then colliding with a petrol pump in a nearby petrol station.
The 27 year old was arrested on Sunday evening and will appear before a court in Manchester next month.

Gibson was not named in Martin O'Neill's Ireland squad yesterday for the upcoming games against Gibraltar and Georgia due to injury.
