UFC President Dana White has responded to the bullying accusations leveled at him by flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.

"Mighty Mouse" launched a scathing attack on the UFC and Dana White amid claims he is being bullied into fights and only finds out about his match-ups in the media.

White had publicly stated he was trying to arrange a bout between former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw and Johnson but the flyweight title-holder refused the bout for numerous reasons.

Speaking to the media in the lead up to UFC Auckland, the UFC supremo fired back saying: "First of all, when he did his deal, he didn't want pay-per-view (points). He wasn't very confident in his ability to sell pay-per-views.

"He has the lowest selling pay-per-view in the history of the UFC in the modern era. I think that a fight between him and TJ Dillashaw would be something that people would actually be interested in, and could sell PPV and could make money -but he absolutely refuses to fight the guy.

Addressing the bullying claim, White said: "I'm bullying you? How do you bully the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world? The media claims he's the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I think Conor McGregor is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world if you look at what that really means, what pound-for-pound really means.

"He'll fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. And if Demetrious is the best pound-for-pound guy in the world - fight TJ Dillashaw."
