Is Pat Fenlon about to leave Tallaght for Glasgow?

The Scottish Sun have reported that the Shamrock Rovers manager is interested in becoming the Head of Youth at Celtic. Fenlon joined Shamrock Rovers as manager in August 2014 and guided the side to a fourth place finish in the Premier Division last year in his first full season in charge.

Fenlon previously worked in Scotland with Hibernian where he spent just under two years at the club, guiding them to two Scottish Cup finals in 2012 and 2013. He left the Easter Road outfit in November 2013. He left the club lying 7th in the table but the Edinburgh club were relegated the following May.

The 46 year old has won five league titles as a manager in Ireland with Shelbourne and Bohemians. His time at Bohemians also included wins in the FAI Cup, League Cup and Setanta Cup.

If Fenlon were to move to Celtic, he would join former Donegal manager Jim McGuinness in Ronny Deila's backroom team.
