Cork GAA suffered a blow today as they lost two players to markedly different reasons..
Ciaran Sheehan is to move to Australia next January to join Aussie rules club Carlton Blues.
The 22 year-old full-forward, who played for Ireland against Australia in this year's International Rules series, is to take up a two year-contract with the side.
Meanwhile, Alan Quirke has joined the raft of retirements among the panel.
He won six Munster titles, four Allianz Leagues and one All-Ireland title in his 14 years with the county team.
Pearse O'Neill, Graham Canty, Paudie Kissane and Noel O' Leary have also retired from inter-county football for Cork over the last few weeks.
