John Kavanagh and Conor McGregor have been working together for years, so it's little surprise to them that they've come as far as they have. They know how much it has taken to get where they are. 

What might be slightly surprising is how quickly it's all changed, from the days of working hard in the gym with no recognition in a sport that was most certainly not making headlines in the way that it is today to being two of the biggest names in Irish sport.

Taking to social media this afternoon, Kavanagh tweeted one image and a short anecdote that sums up the feeling of joy and pride that both he and McGregor have at having risen this far, and how different life is now.

He's a world class fighter, but judging by this picture Conor McGregor is still not at that level when it comes to parking.
