As Cork and Kildare prepare for a qualifier clash this Saturday, Off The Ball's Colm 'Wooly' Parkinson is not convinced by the Leinster side.
"I'm not sold on Kildare. I could be proven wrong [but] I doubt it. I think Cork are operating on a level that's a good bit above Kildare," he said on tonight's show which also featured ex-Mayo manager James Horan, highlighting conclusions from Kildare's qualifier win over Laois.
"They got destroyed by Dublin, they only beat Offaly, who are Division 4 team this year by two points. They hammered Longford very well. But Longford are a Division 4 team as well. Kildare are not at Cork's level. The only thing working in their favour is the fact that Cork only have a six-day turnaround, so it could be a bit of a leveller."
