Clare lead Wexford by a score of 1-10 to 0-7 in their All-Ireland phase three qualifier at Semple Stadium.

Shane O’Donnell - a late replacement for Darach Honan at full forward – was the goal scorer for Clare, with just under 15 minutes on the clock.

The Banner county have been dominant throughout, restricting Wexford to a handful of chances. Davy Fitzgerald’s side also missed a penalty in the first half, with Tony Kelly’s strike blocked on the line.
