The champions have replaced Aberdeen thanks to a 4-0 home win over Motherwell.

Ireland's Anthony Stokes set up Virgil van Dijk to head in the opener, while Leigh Griffiths and two Mikael Lustig goals gave the Hoops a comfortable victory.

Elsewhere, Dundee United were held 1-1 at strugglers St Mirren, Partick thrashed Hamilton 5-0 and Dundee were 1-0 winners over Kilmarnock.
