The pressure continues to mount on Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers after the Reds were forced to a penalty shootout by League Two Carlisle United at Anfield.
Reserve goalkeeper Adam Bodgan rescued his side with three penalty saves during the shoot-out after a battling Carlisle had forced a 1-1 draw after normal time and extra-time.
Danny Ings had scored in the first half of normal time but Derek Asamoah responded for the away side on 34 minutes.

The win means that Liverpool will now advance to face Bournemouth in the fourth round.
