Robbie Brady and Ciaran Clarke are to miss the start of the Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane era of Irish football, with both players withdrawing from the squad due to injury.

Brady is suffering from a groin injury, while Clarke has a damaged foot. Both players will miss the upcoming friendlies against Latvia and Poland.

Replacements will not be called up for the pair.
