Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic will miss the rest of the season after suffering a cruciate knee injury last night, according to reports.

The 24-year-old scored a stunning goal during the Potters' 4-1 FA Cup fourth-round victory at Rochdale, but pulled up later in the match when chasing down the ball.

The Daily Mail are now reporting that the former Barcelona star exited Spotland Stadium on crutches and spent the past 24 hours in hospital.

They also state that this afternoon Bojan was informed of the news that he will be sidelined for six months.
