FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke is the latest high-ranking football administrator who is facing a lengthy ban from the game.

The Frenchman, who is a close associate of banned President Sepp Blatter, is being investigated for his involvement in a black market ticket deal at the 2014 World Cup.

FIFA's ethics investigator is recommending that the 55-year-old should be given a nine-year ban from all football-related activity for his role in the scheme, with a judgement expected from the ethics committee before the end of the month.

Valcke, who is also facing a fine of 100,000 Swiss Francs, denies any wrong-doing.

Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini have been handed eight-year bans pending appeals.
