Ireland's excellent performance in boxing at the European Games ended today with two gold medals in Baku.

Katie Taylor was Ireland's first champion. She defeated France's Estelle Moselly by unanimous decision in the Lightweight final to win her eighteenth gold medal in international competition.

The two gold medals meant that Ireland finished third in the medal table in boxing in Baku. Only the hosts Azerbaijan and Russia finished ahead of Ireland in the medal table.

Brendan Irvine won silver in the Light Flyweight final and Sean McComb won bronze in the Lightweight final as Ireland ended up with four medals to bring home on Monday afternoon.

Nathan spoke to Irish boxing's High Performance Director Billy Walsh live from Baku on a historic day for the sport.
