Armagh advanced to Round 2B of the Football Qualifiers this afternoon after a ten point defeat of Wicklow in the Athletic Grounds. Jamie Clarke scored two late goals for Kieran McGeeney's side as the won by 2-17 to 2-7.

McGeeney spoke to Off the Ball's Colm Parkinson after the game and told him that that "the game should have been out of sight" by half time.Wicklow's championship campaign is over after the loss. Their manager Johnny Magee told Colm that "the ten points was not a true reflection of how the game went".Armagh now go into the draw for Round 2B of the qualifers on Monday. They will face one of Tipperary, Galway, the losers of Westmeath and Meath or the losers of Donegal and Derry.
