UEFA has fined Ajax €25,000 after their fans displayed an offensive banner aimed at Celtic during last week's Champions League match in Amsterdam.

The banner is reported to have included a religious insult aimed at the Scottish title holders.

There was also violence before the game in Amsterdam.

Ajax face a second disciplinary hearing at UEFA next week after their fans ripped up seats at Celtic Park when the teams first played last month.
