March 8th is International Women’s Day and today outside the Dáil will be the setting for the ‘No Women Left Behind’ rally organised by the National Women’s Council of Ireland.

But how far has Ireland come in its journey for equal rights? Anton Savage was joined by the former head of the National Women’s Council, former Tánaiste and now MEP for Dublin - Frances Fitzgerald.
