Gavan was joined by the HSE's lead for testing and tracing, Niamh O'Beirne.

Together they discussed the increasing reports of fully vaccinated people contracting COVID-19, and whether outdoor events are responsible for the country's high infection rates.

Niamh also explained what could be expected from children, as schools plan for their reopening in September.
