Following the murder of 27 year old Turkish student Pinar Gultekin, social media has seen thousands of black & white portraits posted online with the accompanying hashtag #challengeaccepted.

The trend is meant to draw attention to the high rates of gender-based violence in Turkey where "honour-killings" are a serious issue.
