We hear from a mother who is fighting for her son to be fairly examined in the Leaving Certificate. Eithne Walsh is mum to a visually-impaired student, Cormac Walsh has done all his post-primary studies digitally and has been told he must sit paper-based Leaving Cert exams. For higher-level maths, it would mean enlarging the exam paper to a point were it would amount to 54 pages, with some graphs and answer boxes cut in half. Eithne spoke to Pat this morning on her quest on behalf of Cormac.
