The OPW had proposed plans “to reduce through traffic over the medium to long term” which would include pedestrian crossings across chesterfield avenue, 14k of new cycling routes, 30k speed limit, no more through traffic on Upper Glen Road, permanent end to parking on chesterfield avenue, bus routes going to the park and the Cabra gate been used for buses only with no change to the Ashtown or Knockmarroon Gates
