In light of Deirdre Morley’s trial and subsequent not guilty verdict by reason of insanity, we speak to Hazel Catherine Larkin who shares her story of coming close to the abyss and that she considered killing her two young daughters during a period of extreme anxiety and depression when she returned to Ireland 15 years ago and who could identify and empathize with the situation Deirdre was in.
