Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe joined Ivan this evening on the Hard Shoulder to discuss a range of issues from the health of the construction industry; to cost over-runs at the National Children's Hospital; the nursing strike and the future of the National Broadband Plan.

He and Minister of State Patrick O'Donovan today launched 'Build', an annual report on construction sector performance and prospects for 2019 which shows that Economy-wide investment in building and construction will grow to €30 billion in 2019.  Meanwhile, public spending on infrastructure will top 3.5% of national income in 2019 and employment in the construction sector now stands at 145,500.
