Reports said that following a meeting of the Cabinet Covid-19 committee, Level 5 restrictions look set to remain in place until April with strict measures until early May.

One of the major impacts that this will have, is on the housing market.

Surely this will mean availability and affordability will take a hit … and solutions to the housing crisis will have to be kicked further down the road?

Orla Hegarty is an architect, and assistant professor at the School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy at UCD, and Karl Deeter is a financial analyst.  They joined Kieran on Friday's edition of The Hard Shoulder to discuss.
