600,000 people in North Dublin and parts of Leinster face further uncertainty over the next few days with a fresh boil water notice in place, the issue of water supply and boil water notices nationwide came before the Oireachtas Housing, Planning and Local government today. 

The Environmental Protection Agency, Irish Water and representatives from the Department and Fingal County Council spoke to the Committee on next steps. 

Noel Rock, TD, chair of the Housing Committee and Dr Orla Cahill, Microbiologist in TU Dublin joined Ivan to discuss the issue further.
