Over the weekend, there was more talk about the FAI and Irish football off the pitch than about the match against Gibraltar.

The Sunday Times revealed that the association was paying €3,000 a month for John Delaney's rental accommodation in Wicklow, and it was announced that he was changing roles from CEO to Executive Vice President.

It comes after last week's revelations that Mr Delaney gave €100,000 of his own money to the FAI in April 2017 as a "bridging loan".

Ewan MacKenna is a journalist, and he spoke to Ivan on Monday giving his reaction to the latest details.
