This morning on Newstalk Breakfast, Trinity Professor Tomas Ryan said that Christmas should be delayed for a month to ensure we get the most out of lockdown. Meanwhile, the hospitality and retail industries are urging the Government to think about opening up for Christmas.

Jack Lambert is Professor of Medicine and infectious diseases at the Matter Hospital and UCD School of Medicine and he joined Kieran Cudihhy with his reaction. 

Kieran was also joined by Donal O’Keeffe, chief executive of the Licensed Vintners Association, and Arnold Dillon, Director for Retail Ireland.
