Labour's education spokesperson, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin is publishing a bill this week which aims to bring an end to gender discrimination in school admission. He says co-ed schooling is already 'de facto' policy, and they now wants a timeline for the phasing out single-sex schooling entirely.
