The centrality of horses to Travellers’ culture “has to be acknowledged” in housing policy. That’s the warning from Michael O’Flaherty, Director of the EU’s Fundamental Rights Agency, who says local authorities should accommodate travellers with somewhere to stable a horse.  Martin Collins, Co-Director of Pavee Point Traveller and Roma Centre joined us with more on this story.
