Frontline health workers will get a €1,000 tax-free bonus for their work during the pandemic under plans agreed by Cabinet. However, those working in private hospitals won't get the payment nor will other frontline workers like gardaí, teachers, supermarket staff and bus drivers. To discuss this further Ciara was joined this morning by Michael McGrath, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.
