Indoor dining and drinking is still some way off in South, but that certainly is not the case up North.
Over the past few weekends trains to Belfast have been fully booked out with such a demand from people wanting to have a pint indoors.
Many Dublin to Belfast trains are booked out with people heading North for indoor dining and drinking.
Publicans say around 60% of their customers are from the South.
