Number of tourists falling victim of a crime on the rise

There has been an increase in the number of tourists requiring help dealing with crime here, that’s according to The Irish Tourist Assistance Service This year alone the service has helped 782 people, which compares to 721 people in the same period in 2019, before the pandemic. Speaking about these findings was Brendan O'Connor, President of the Garda Representative Association.
