It was confirmed yesterday that the Pandemic Unemployment Payment would be phased out by next February beginning with a reduction of €50 a week from September. It comes as the latest stats show that just over 309,000, are still claiming the payment. Heather Humphreys Minister for Social Protection, Community and Rural Development and Minister for Justice joined us on the show this morning.
