The Stability Programme Update published this week predicts the economy will grow by 4.5% this year. It also forecast that the domestic economy will rebound strongly by 7.4% next year. This is all dependent however on a successful vaccination programme and the gradual lifting of pandemic restrictions. To discuss the recovery of the economy post pandemic we were joined on the show by Michael McGrath, Minister for Public Expenditure and Fianna Fail TD.
