Today hundreds of local businesses in towns and villages across the country are showcasing their wares for "Green Friday" . Green Friday is billed as an alternative to the mass consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday events, where millions are spent by Irish consumers every year.  Lisa Tonge, Owner of The Green Dot design shop in Clonakilty, West Cork joined us on the show this morning to talk about the importance of buying Irish.
