Half Of Ireland’s Tenants Spend More Than 30 Per Cent Of Their Take Home Pay On Rent

Half of Ireland’s tenants spend more than 30 percent of their take-home pay on rent, while 12 percent spend more than half their income on keeping a roof over their head, that’s according to new research by the Residential Tenancies Board. For more on these findings, we were joined on the show this morning by Paddy Gray, Professor of Housing at the University of Ulster.
