Minister for Justice Jim O'Callaghan has confirmed that Cabinet has approved the purchase of the Citywest Hotel and campus in Dublin. 

The State has been leasing the site since 2020, when it was first used as a Covid vaccination centre more recently it has been used as accommodation for international protection applicants. We got reaction to this sale with Linda De Courcy, Independent Ireland Councillor for Clondalkin LEA.
