The impact of Covid on Ireland’s economy will not be as bad as earlier feared. Updated predictions released by the Department of finance show that GDP will shrink by 2.5% this year and not 10.5% as had been predicted back in April.  For more on this we were joined by Seamus Coffey Former Chair of the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council and Economist at UCC.
